I hate going to the dentist let alone one that has the word surgery in their job description. I had an implant put in yesterday and I can’t believe how easy it was. They put me out for it and I woke up with no pain, and no trauma of smelling my own flesh burning under the friction of a drill. I had not been looking forward to it because in the past dental work has just been painful and miserable. But that isn’t even the best part. My dentist referred me to another guy. His quote seemed REALLY HIGH! So I went to see Dr. Christenson based on a friend who knows him. Having not told him the price the other quy quoted me, he came in 50% cheaper. That scared me at first. As I asked him about it and dug into it it turns out I didn’t need a bone graft. The other guy was gonna charge me like $900 for something I didn’t even need. At first I was worried that Dr. Christianson had overlooked this. He and I sat and talked about it and said most surgeons put that in to pad the service and it is often extremely unnecessary. In my case it was extremely unnecessary. So not only was it a great experience, but it was so much cheaper and the healing time was less because I didn’t need a stinking bone graft!! You can see why I would take the time to write such a lengthy review. I don’t have insurance, so this was a life saver!! Customer for life!!

The staff was very friendly and helpful and scheduling was easy and fast. Before I knew it I was done with my surgery and felt fine. My surgical sites are healing nicely, and I'm very grateful for the excellent work Dr. Christensen did and for his professionalism and friendly demeanor. My son had his wisdom teeth removed, he had no noticeable swelling and was back to school the next day. He had hardly any pain and needed nothing more than ibuprofen for a day or two. Dr. Christensen and staff were all super professional and friendly and made us feel comfortable and at ease. Great oral surgeon and excellent experience overall! I’d recommend to everyone!

Amazing experience at Wasatch Oral Surgery. All 3 of my kids have been HERE. The staff is friendly and professional, everyone is willing to help. The surgery is fast and Dr. Christensen is very involved and genuine. He even called personally after the surgery to check on our son. This is the place to go for wisdom teeth. =]

Apparently Dr Christiansen had an emergency surgery next door so I had to wait about 30 minutes, needing extra numbing drugs when he got to me, but you know, he was up front with the situation and made sure I was okay waiting before he numbed me up. His staff was great and once he got in to do the extraction he was a pro and very efficient. I tried going without meds and unfortunately my mouth was killing me a week later. I called and the nurse on call made time for me and put some filler material in and it made the difference! I could finally sleep and eat normal! Nurse Jessie, you rock!!! Thanks for easing my pain!
