Dr.Christensen was very professional and caring. He has an excellent bedside manner and carried on a fun convo while preparing for my procedure, which made the entire experience seem far less daunting. I was advised to have an oral surgeon remove my horizontally impacted wisdom tooth, so one of the things I asked his assistant on the phone, while scheduling my visit, was whether he could pull my wisdom tooth without causing facial paralysis. Every other dentist I'd spoken to had said they wouldn’t touch it, due to the risk of inadvertently causing such an issue. She confirmed that my X-rays had been sent over and he’d reviewed them, and she advised that he had no concerns and was sure it wouldn’t be a problem. The first thing he said when he was talking me through the procedure before he began was that it would be a simple process, “no risk of paralysis.” I’d asked his assistant this question a week before, so it was clear to me that she mentioned to him that this was a concern and he made a note to address it, so that I’d be at ease. He is an amazing oral surgeon and his entire staff is just as awesome. This is such a great clinic. I hope to never need oral surgery again, but if I do, I know where I’ll go. (It was removed on Monday, it’s now Friday. Everything feels great. I waited to add my review, so that I could confirm that the healing stage is progressing very well. Additionally, I’ve had Type 1 Diabetes since age 12, and healing isn’t considered to be a strength of those who are diabetic.)
